This web site is owned and managed by the Okanagan Indian Education Resources Society (O.I.E.R.S.). O.I.E.R.S. operates under the name En'owkin Centre.
The En'owkin Centre is a Syilx institution, which puts into practice the principles of self-determination, the validation of cultural aspiration and celebration of identity. En'owkin Centre is an Indigenous cultural, educational and creative arts organization, advocating the development and implementation of Indigenous knowledge systems, at the community, national and international levels.
The En'owkin Centre was established in 1981 and is governed by the O.I.E.R.S. Board of Directors, which has representatives from each of the seven (7) member bands of the Syilx (Okanagan) Nation.
